Ex-Olympian Michael Klim’s love of fitness began from a very young age: “I think I actually learnt to swim around the same time that I learnt to walk,” said Klim who grew up in Melbourne, Australia. “ I had a very transient lifestyle growing up and while our family moved around all of the time, swimming and sport were the constant, consistent and stable part of my life that I could always rely on.”
Hanging up his goggles 9 years ago, the professional swimmer turned his focus to creating a new line of unisex beauty and lifestyle products, Milk & Co. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Klim gives us a glimpse of the fitness routine he swears by.
The champion swimmer may no longer be breaking records in the pool, but with thriving business Milk & Co taking off overseas, the 38 year old shows little sign of slowing down… Here Michael Klim chats to GQ Australia about how fitness plays a role in his everyday life.
Summer is fast approaching and already we have been blessed with beautiful warm weather. The days are now longer and those few extra hours of sunshine make all the difference when it comes to being social. After-work drinks and dinners are no longer a hassle but something we excitedly plan with friends and co-workers. But for those of us carrying a little extra Winter weight, these social occasions can be a little daunting as we are starting to think about our Summer bodies!

Ahhh, the dreaded Winter is finally upon us which means shorter days, lack of sunlight, freezing cold weather and the overwhelming urge to stay in bed… just for 5 more minutes!
